TAMA Assistance Program
As an association formed to serve the needs of the professionals that create, make and perform Tropical Americana Music we MUST be able to come to the emergency aid of those members financially, emotionally and logistically. We will lean on the care and generosity of our entire membership to support emergency needs presented. Our associate and corporate members create a valuable connection to our primary members via their assistance through advanced benevolent efforts. These members create a association relationship that reaches our primary members when often most needed.
This fund has been established to benefit Primary Members in a significant time of need. It is funded by dues paid by associate, corporate members and specific outside donations. The two tiers of benefit available are wholly dependent on funds availability.
Tier 1 Request
150.00 benefit: If stricken by an event or circumstance creating an emergency need, a request for assistance may be submitted by any active primary member. Funds are intended for emergency needs such auto repairs, fuel, hotel and meals. This benefit will be forwarded to the member in the most cost effective and available method possible.
Tier 2 Request
150.00 + benefit: If stricken by an event or circumstance creating an emergency need, a request for assistance may be submitted by any active primary member. Within 24 hours the benevolent fund committee will grant or deny benefits. If approved this benefit will be forwarded to the member.
